Blitz in Lima and Callao 20

For a quick evening of blitz in Lima, the most regular date is at a club: the numbered Monday series of the Círculo Peruano de Ajedrez in Breña. Club de Ajedrez Barranco Crema has also listed a Tuesday blitz for players without a title. The Centro Metropolitano de Ajedrez on Avenida 28 de Julio, in the Cercado, held the second edition of its Kasparov blitz tournament on Saturday 10 October 2026.

Academies and independent organisers add more dates. Entre Maestros in Surquillo, Gambito de Dama in Chorrillos, Armagedón in San Miguel and Liga de Maestros in Jesús María all list blitz events, and Eco Plaza & Magic Chess in Ate began its series with a Sunday blitz. The councils of Miraflores and Surquillo appear with blitz among their tournaments, and the Claretiano festival in San Miguel is a blitz event at its core.
