Chess in Lima

Write to us

Use this form for a club, academy or recurring tournament in Lima or Callao that is not on the list yet, or for a card that is wrong or out of date. Anyone can write: club officers, organisers, coaches, parents, players.

A link does most of the work: the club’s page, a tournament listing, a council notice with a date. Messages are read together at the next revision, compared with that page, and every change that follows is dated in the latest edits.

What is it about?
For a new place: what chess happens there, and when. For a mistake: which line of the card is wrong.
Web address of a page, a tournament listing or a post where this can be read.
Only so we know who wrote; your name is never shown on the site.
For example a WhatsApp number, if email does not suit you.

Please leave at least one contact, an email or another. It stays private and is used only to reply if you ask.

What happens to the contents of this form is described under privacy.

What happens next

  • Your message waits with the others until the next revision of the Lima list.
  • It is then compared with the club’s or organiser’s own pages; where they confirm it, the card changes and the latest edits record the date.
  • If no page can be found to support it, the card stays as it is and keeps its “not confirmed” line.
  • Nobody writes back unless your message requests a reply and gives a contact.
