About this list
A chess club in Lima is known above all by its tournaments. Most clubs here publish no timetable of their own, but they list a steady run of rapid, blitz and classical events on the national tournament server, with the hall, an entry fee and a number for information. Club de Ajedrez Barranco Crema on Calle Manco Cápac holds a numbered Wednesday evening tournament, the Círculo Peruano de Ajedrez in Breña a Monday blitz series, and Club Lima Chess plays on Avenida Perú in San Martín de Porres.
The north has the densest cluster: Comas with Caballo de Paso, Arévalo, Maquihuasi and Peón al Paso, and Los Olivos with Peones Guerreros and Dragón. In the south San Juan de Miraflores has Chess Titan, Chess Trébol, El Caballo Azul and ADASUR. Chess Winners plays in Santa Anita, Casa del Ajedrez in Surco, Grunfeld in San Luis, and SDA Club 64 in Bellavista, Callao. Clubs of universities and schools have a section of their own.
